Supreme Court Grants LGs Financial Autonomy

Local Government will now be getting their monthly Allocation from the Federal Government in Abuja.
The Supreme Court has mandated the Federal Government not to pay the monthly allocation to the State Government who used the money to do whatever they want and leave the Local Government pauperized.

The Supreme Court also ruled that the Federal Government should not pay the allocation to any local government that is not democratically elected by the people.
That is to say any Local Government Chairman appointed by the State Governor should not be paid by the Federal Government.

This is a wonderful news to all Nigerians as the Local Government Authorities now have money in their disposal to execute projects that will benefit the people.
